Final Fantasy IX is a four disc turn-based RPG made for the PSX. The main character is a young man named Zidane, who was adopted by the Tantalus brothers after he was found on the shores of Lindblum. All he can remember about his birthplace is an eerie blue light. The game starts in the Kingdom of Alexandria, where the Tantalus group has been given the assignment to kidnap Princess Garnet (little do they know that the princess wants to run away herself, because she has begum to fear her own mother) on her birthday and bring her back to Lindblum, where her uncle waits for her. This point in the game, the story unfolds, and our adventurers embark on a journey that will take them to other worlds and beyond.

No way. 10 was easily the best FF game released to date. With the first release on a new console ever (going to the PS2), The world held their breath waiting to see what new changes would be made to final fantasy, and they got what they were waiting for. In 2002, Square Enix released FFX, with graphical quality rivaling even the best of games today, a deep, rich storyline, role defying gameplay and a kick ass sound track to boot. The best game since FF7, which had an amazing storyline.
