vs. Fighting! SNK and Playmore use claymores for text books! This 2D slash em' up is a MUST for all fans of the genre. If you liked the "Samurai Shodown" saga, then your gonna love this. In terms of gameplay, it's identical to the "Neo-Geo" coin-op arcades and the "MVS" japanese home system. Seriously, add this to your SNK fightfest collection, you'll not be disappointed. 7z comes with game iso (works perfectly on OPL0.. I couldn't find the game soundtrack. (Assuming there was one released) Put the children to bed, kick back and prepare to be amazed. (Dance with us Gir, dance with us into oblivion) May the technology be merciful when the time comes??? Stay tuned! Enjoy!!!
What are some of the other SNK fighters available on the PS2? What about a KOF compilation? Also wondering whether other Neo Geo games could run on Ps2 (eg. Ninja Commando, Double Dragon, Garou: Mark of the wolves, Kabuki Klash, Ninja Masters, ect...)
honestly, i can't say (still fumbling in the dark with myself) but i have "art of fighting antholgy" coming soon to a screen near you. i'll be looking into the titles you've mentioned.(i didn't know they exissted on the ps2) peace!!!!
Thanks. I am a huge fan of SNK games. I used to play the emulated roms using Kawa-x, but I've recently sold my Xbox. Garou: Mark of the Wolves already exists on the PS2, but not about the rest of the games I mentioned. Looking forward for AOF anthology.
Hey Cream, KoF XI and Neo Geo Battle Coliseum are excellent 2D fighters on PS2, and KoF 2006 is my personal favorite of the entire KoF series, it's 3D not 2D and it ranks up there with Tekken and Soul Caliber in my opinion. I also really liked Volume 2 of the Fatal Fury Battle Archives on PS2, which features all of the "Real Bout" releases, and the World Heroes Anthology too.
@Kiryu: Thanks for the info. I've searched for KoF 2006 on Youtube, and it looks similar to the Street Fighter EX series fighting mechanics. I'm more into 2D fighters to be honest, but since you mentioned both of my favorite fighting franchises (Tekken & SC) then I might give KoF 2006 a try.
No prob, Cream. I was one of the few who actually enjoyed SFEX3 on PS2 but I can tell you that, in my opinion, KoF 2006 if far superior to any of the SF EX games. I was hooked from the first fight. I even did something that I usually don't do due to my A.D.D., which is play through the game with every character. I definitely recommend that you try it.
